Brovia, "Villero", Barolo, Piedmont - 2008

Here’s the most powerful cru in Brovia’s lineup. The vineyard, planted with 47-year-old vines, is situated next to Rocche but with a southwest exposure that gets the warm afternoon sun. Usually underrated as it takes some cellaring to show its true potential. The Brovia family regards this as the riserva out of all the crus.
