Appearance: Very dark garnet with long legs.
Nose: Big, quite ripe nose of black fruits and thyme, with a hint of Old-World barnyard character.
Palate: Starts with good concentrated fruit characters that evolve with characters of smoked meats and dried herbs. Still young tannins in the long, warm finish. A robust, full-bodied wine that will reward cellar ageing.
