Domaine de Montille is a top Burgundy house located in the Côte de Beaune, de Montille was developed in 1951 by Hubert de Montille, a former lawer in Dijon. After selling to négociants in bulk he expanded his vineyards to almost 17ha with vineyards in Volnay and Pommard. Hubert's son Etienne now manages the estate.
100% Chardonnay from the walled vineyard right in front of the Château inside the village of Puligny-Montrachet, this over-achieving Bourgogne Blanc is stellar year in and year out. Pale lemon and lime. A nose of exquisite finesse, gorgeous quality of fruit which is lifted, stylish yet mouth-filling and very long.
