Dog Point Vineyard is New Zealand's largest certified organic vineyard by Biogro NZ. They are family owned and one of the oldest privately established vineyards, located on the hill slopes of the Southern Valleys of Marlborough, New Zealand. Four wines are produced including a sauvignon blanc, and three barrel fermented wines using natural (wild) yeasts including a sauvignon blanc fermented in older French oak barrels (Section 94), a chardonnay and a pinot noir. Wines are vegan, vegetarian and gluten free reflecting their low interventionist ethos. The primary focus is producing wines of uncompromising quality that will cellar well.

Smooth, a little brooding, and absolutely full of soul. From one of New Zealand’s finest hands-on producers, Dog Point’s 2014 Pinot Noir struts in with wild fermentation, whole bunch swagger and a barrel-aged charm that says, “I age well – and I know it.” Expect red cherry and plum to lead the charge, with whispers of earthy spice and a silky structure that just keeps talking. It's complex without being complicated – a wine that’s cool with a bit of mystery, and even cooler in your glass.
